Congratulations on doing such interesting work. My answers below reveal a kind of split right now in my use of dh methodologies: I use text analytics in my literature classes, where we have well established texts, and I am developing digital collections in my folklore studies courses, where we are creating the texts/data/corpora for future analysis. (I imagine in a few years we might have enough texts to begin doing some analysis in classes.) (The geospatial data that can be associated with that data is implicit quite often: we haven't quite worked out the best way to make it explicit.)
